When a person consumes food like this it adversely affects the blood sugar level. Food converts glucose into energy. Insulin is produced by the pancreas. It opens body cells and helps the body to take energy. However, diabetes ayurvedic treatment can control diabetes.

Before understanding the symptoms and the treatment available it is important to know about the types of diabetes. Diabetes is of 4 types namely Type 1, Type 2, gestational diabetes, and pre-diabetes.

Type 1 – This type of Diabetes is most common in childhood and adulthood. In this stage, the body’s immune system attacks and destroys the cell in the pancreas that is supposed to produce insulin. However, the body requires insulin daily. Which is taken through injections or by a pump.

Type 2 – The most common amongst all types of diabetes is this type, diagnosed in  85-90% of the total population. In this type, the pancreas produces insulin but not at its full potential. Whereas blood sugar level in this could be maintained within the required limit by exercising, controlling diet, and through some of your medications such tablets, injecting insulin and most reliable form with no side effects is ayurvedic diabetes treatment.

Gestational diabetes – The ladies during 24 to 28 weeks of pregnancy may have fluctuating sugar levels which are known as gestational diabetes. 5 – 10% of women suffer from gestational diabetes. However, women often undergo an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) six to eight weeks after delivery. It checks whether the blood glucose level is within the required limit or not. It usually goes away once the baby is born. Whereas, there is a 30 – 50% chance of developing Type 2 diabetes within 15 years after pregnancy. However, having a healthy diet can reduce risk. The good news is that it is not necessary that your baby will also develop diabetes while growing up.

Pre-diabetes – In this type of diabetes, the blood sugar level is more than the normal but not so high to be diagnosed as type 2 diabetes. Whereas people with this type of diabetes have a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes and heart disease. It shows no symptoms. A person because of the risk of having pre-diabetes should check his blood pressure and cholesterol level once or twice a week.
